Biography:

A native of the Gulf Coast of the Lone Star State. Born on Friday, Nov. 13, 1953. In Galveston County Memorial. Have lived in Houston, Chicago, Phoenix, LaFouche Parish (near New Orleans), San Francisco, Bowling Green, KY and Los Angeles.

Career:

Now in Los Angeles, Previously at Venture Technology Group. Before that, I was director of technical operations at Max Media's WNKY TV, the NBC affiliate for Bowling Green, KY. Prior to that I was the chief engineer of KPXN 30, San Bernardino from 1994 to 2001.
Before that:


 "World Television" LPTV operators on UHF 27 & VHF 6 in LA, also worked on Value Vision shopping stations in Charlotte, Houston, and Atlanta. And THE BOX, Video Jukebox LPTV 58 in Phoenix. With Larry Rogow in Los Angeles.

Helped design "Commercial Advance" commercial skipping programming for home VCR's with Jerry Iggulden and
Alan McFarland in Los Angeles during 1995.

 "MARS FM 103.1" before that, in '91 and '92. Synchronized KSRF in Santa Monica CA and Newport Beach CA. A paper on this was presented at the '92 National Assn. of Broadcasters Engineering conference.

 -A new FOX affiliate for, well, Humboldt County, CA of all places, channel 23 in '86 - '87.

 KITS, "Live 105.3" San Francisco chief engineer, 1984 thru 1986

Hobbies:

I used to expose a lot of 35mm film. A Leica M3 Fan. I try and attend AES (audio eng. soc.) CES (consumer electronics show) and NAB (nat. assn. baboons) conventions. These shows are large commercial tradeshow things. DTV, Network Computers, Video Games, and genuine attitude in high end HI-FI. Class A Western Electric 300B triodes, anyone?
